Just a big thankyou to all of you for making my VW Touareg well again.
I had only owned the Touareg a couple of days when the dreaded gearbox of my Touareg decided to join all the others in the BIG BANG Syndrome.
ie. Putting you foot down in 6th gear to overtake and the thing bangs down to 4th with a loud bang (very worrying). I went onto the internet to find out that this is a very common problem worldwide, with different theories of its resolve. I eventually found your Company with reco's from other satisfied results and contacted you by telephone to see whether you could solve this for me.
Within a few days you had me booked in, and within 3 hours of arriving the gearbox is now back to normal and changing up and down as it should do. So a big thankyou to Nino for showing me around and exactly what the problem was and how you resolve it and to Kelly and Mum for keeping me supplied with coffee and tea. Also the other two who worked on the car.
It was very nice to see the whole thing done professionally and at a very reasonable price.

You left a message for me on my mobile phone. Apologies for not returning your call, but I have been away and have been busy catching up with work since.I think it was a courtesy call from you to see how the car is going since you changed the battery. Mine was the car that kept showing a gearbox fault, but only in cold weather and very close to the start of a journey. Since you diagnosed a dud battery and replaced it the car has run perfectly well and the fault message has not returned.
That was over five weeks ago. I was very relieved I didn't need a lot of work done on the box. I want the old car to last a bit longer.
Thank you for your help and for your excellent service. I have told the story to Dave by email, just for the record. I wonder if he will mention it when I take the car in for the service and MOT in July!
Thanks again and regards.
